Props and Camera Equipment Planning

When planning to film my group and I have had to plan and collect items that will help us film. We had to gather all of the supplies we might need while filming. When we are out filming, we have to have everything we need. We will not be able to just go grab something. So, we had to create a plan about what we wanted to bring. We made sure to pack up all of our props. We first had to find the props. We also had to make sure they went with our script. We had to collect everything and make sure it was enough. We had to make sure we had everything that we wrote in our scripts. We have to make sure to go through the script several times to be sure we have everything. We also made sure to bring the equipment we need to hang up the props. Then we had to figure out what camera equipment we would need. There are three of us in our and in some scenes, we are all in them as actors. So, we had to make sure to bring stands for the cameras. When planning we had to find a stand for the cameras. There are many different one. We had to make sure it would work with our scenes and angles. After deciding what stand would work best for us, we had to then finish our props. So, we are now all set up to film with our props and camera equipment.

  We started off first with watching the short film,9. It was only about 10 minutes long and there was no dialogue during it. When I first watched the film, I thought that there would be some dialogue. Doing, or having would increase the quality of this short film greatly. Not only would it make it better, but easier to understand what the plot is. There were many times throughout this short film where I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know what was going on or the plot throughout the whole film. It was hard to follow without any dialogue.I  had to resort to watching the characters' body language in order to understand what was happening. Maybe the little noises the characters made for each emotion would have been better. But that isn't very easy when they're little rag dolls. A level Intro Blog

I am Karli Norkin, I am in grade 11, and l ast year  I took part  in  as  level Media studies.  Thanks to a lot of hard work and devotion  I  passed and am  now in A level Media studies.  I took the year  to learn the vocabulary and key wording I needed to succeed in the class. I also learned the best ways to film and edit over all my projects.  I started with my commercial. This project was the beginning of my leaning towards filming. This opened me up to new angles and lighting to use.  After the commercial I knew how to create a film overall. The best ways to show the emotions of the  characters , or the best w ay to sell an object. Planning Blog Schedule

Schedule Tuesday 21, 2021- We will begin our filming, by starting the first scene where they are in the kitchen watching the news as they hear that an asteroid is coming to earth. This will be the first scene we will film to get the extra actors and characters out of the way. The next scene we will film on this day is the scene where Lily runs over to her neighbors house to confess her feelings before they die. This will be the last scene we will film on this day. Tuesday 28, 2021- We will continue to film, we will take a break to enjoy the holidays then come back to finish the film. We will start by filming the third scene at the park where the two girls Lily, and Charlotte. We will film the compilation of the girls doing activities on this day as well, we will have to remain on schedule starting with the park then going to the car, bathroom, and backyard.
