When we can Film

 Planning Blog: 2

My partner and I worked together to complete our filming schedule. We finally had a week that worked for both of us and our schedules. Our film has specific times of the day we have to film. Parts of our film are at specific times as written in the script. Because of the asteroid coming we had to set a time it was supposed to hit and the time it was going to get hit and destroyed. We made it so it would be during the sunset. We wanted it to be pretty for the film and the scene that is happening in the time it is supposed to hit. This created an issue for me and Rylie. We had to plan days that we could film until sunset that worked with the actors and my partner and I. This proved to be difficult with our schedules because we all were available at different days and different times. We planned one day where Rylie and I would be able to film with the actor who is playing Lily. We do not need a Noah for this day. We only need Lily, Charlotte and Lily’s mom. This will work for us this sunday. We will begin filming this Sunday. We will also be filming on Monday. Sunday we will only be filming with the girls and the mom. On Monday we will film with the boy who is playing Noah and the girls. This will work well because we will most likely only need one day to film with Noah, because he is only in two scenes and the first one is not very long. This should only take this day to film and then we will be done filming and we can begin editing that week. Overall this will be quick and efficient filming. We do not need many actors. So we only have to work with a few people's schedules. So, we will film this weekend and monday because there is no school on that day. We will then finish and begin our editing.
