Title Research: Psycho

 This film is from the website www.artofthetitle.com. The titles displayed throughout the opening sequence were all of the makers and providers of the movie. There are lines on the screen, and they bring the titles in and out. The titles are all of names and they represent the people who helped make the film. At the beginning there is also a title of the name of the movie. These images prioritize the people of the film who helped make it. The images make the viewer interested in what is to come in the movie. The lines sliding up and down and side makes the viewer see the change in the way the movies may be. It shows the change in how the plot may go and how there will be things going on that will not remain the same, or things will be crazy and all over the place. The genre is shown by the upbeat tempo of the music and the screen moving in all directions. There is an unsettling feeling when watching this opening sequence. The feeling is a what is to come type. The viewer is not sure yet what the movie is about because there is little plot being shown, but they will know what type it is. The film is for anyone but mainly older people. The film uses the music and the fast transitions to show that this movie will be fast and hard to keep up with and maybe a little on the scary side. This will show that maybe it is best for adults rather than kids. There is a lot of technology being used. There is use of transitions, coloring, and animation all throughout the opening. The transitions are fast and shows the upbeat part of the film. This is made through the use of editing, along with the rest of the opening sequence. The film uses colors to show the dark side of the film. There is also use of shadows to show the dark side no one sees. Lastly there is the music that goes over the whole thing that ties it all together.

  We started off first with watching the short film,9. It was only about 10 minutes long and there was no dialogue during it. When I first watched the film, I thought that there would be some dialogue. Doing, or having would increase the quality of this short film greatly. Not only would it make it better, but easier to understand what the plot is. There were many times throughout this short film where I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know what was going on or the plot throughout the whole film. It was hard to follow without any dialogue.I  had to resort to watching the characters' body language in order to understand what was happening. Maybe the little noises the characters made for each emotion would have been better. But that isn't very easy when they're little rag dolls. I am Karli Norkin, I am in grade 11, and l ast year  I took part  in  as  level Media studies.  Thanks to a lot of hard work and devotion  I  passed and am  now in A level Media studies.  I took the year  to learn the vocabulary and key wording I needed to succeed in the class. I also learned the best ways to film and edit over all my projects.  I started with my commercial. This project was the beginning of my leaning towards filming. This opened me up to new angles and lighting to use.  After the commercial I knew how to create a film overall. The best ways to show the emotions of the  characters , or the best w ay to sell an object. Schedule Tuesday 21, 2021- We will begin our filming, by starting the first scene where they are in the kitchen watching the news as they hear that an asteroid is coming to earth. This will be the first scene we will film to get the extra actors and characters out of the way. The next scene we will film on this day is the scene where Lily runs over to her neighbors house to confess her feelings before they die. This will be the last scene we will film on this day. Tuesday 28, 2021- We will continue to film, we will take a break to enjoy the holidays then come back to finish the film. We will start by filming the third scene at the park where the two girls Lily, and Charlotte. We will film the compilation of the girls doing activities on this day as well, we will have to remain on schedule starting with the park then going to the car, bathroom, and backyard.
