Planning Music

My group and I started this process by giving ideas on what each of us though the music should be. We discussed this over a few days. We wanted to make sure we chose the right songs. We each gave some ideas on what we thought would be best for our film. We all agreed there should be two songs. One song would be on the radio in the car as they are driving. This will be faint in the background as the actors speak. We will make sure to muffle the sound when we edit the film. We also wanted a song over parts of the rest of the film. So overall we wanted two songs for the whole film. We went through each song we wanted. We wanted it to go with our film and have a mystery type feel to it. We listened to each song with our film in mine. We then voted on what we thought would work best. Once we decided on the songs, we would like we had to get the songs. We knew this would take some time. We needed to email the company and contact them on other social media. We wanted to do this early, so we had time for them to answer us. We each contacted them, so we had more of a chance for them to answer. We made sure to continue to check and make sure we got a response before we used their music. So, we have now finished planning our music.
