Three Genres For Short Film

 We chose three different genres that our short movie could fit into. The genres are: Romance, Suspense, and Drama. We chose these three because our movie could go into any of these easily without having to change anything. Our story has romance. It's one of the major plots and backstory behind our movie. Our movie has drama. That's because it has internal conflict, which only the audience sees throughout the movie. Lastly, suspense. The asteroid that is supposed to come gives the audience suspense throughout the whole thing about what's going to happen. Making sure to keep them on the edge of their seat until the end. Our movie could go into any one of these, and would fit it to the T. However, we need to do more research to see which was the perfect fit. As well as where our movie would strive the best in. Asd of right now, before any research, we have some sort of idea where our movie could land. We are thinking that it is most likely going to land in the Romance genre. With all things considered, the main character has a romance with another character, which is how the movie will start, and finish. Again, we will do more research as a team. We need to make sure we look at all sides before fully placing our short movie into a genre. For all we know, we could be placing it in one, where it will do better, and fit better in another. We will be back soon!!!!

  We started off first with watching the short film,9. It was only about 10 minutes long and there was no dialogue during it. When I first watched the film, I thought that there would be some dialogue. Doing, or having would increase the quality of this short film greatly. Not only would it make it better, but easier to understand what the plot is. There were many times throughout this short film where I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know what was going on or the plot throughout the whole film. It was hard to follow without any dialogue.I  had to resort to watching the characters' body language in order to understand what was happening. Maybe the little noises the characters made for each emotion would have been better. But that isn't very easy when they're little rag dolls. I am Karli Norkin, I am in grade 11, and l ast year  I took part  in  as  level Media studies.  Thanks to a lot of hard work and devotion  I  passed and am  now in A level Media studies.  I took the year  to learn the vocabulary and key wording I needed to succeed in the class. I also learned the best ways to film and edit over all my projects.  I started with my commercial. This project was the beginning of my leaning towards filming. This opened me up to new angles and lighting to use.  After the commercial I knew how to create a film overall. The best ways to show the emotions of the  characters , or the best w ay to sell an object. Schedule Tuesday 21, 2021- We will begin our filming, by starting the first scene where they are in the kitchen watching the news as they hear that an asteroid is coming to earth. This will be the first scene we will film to get the extra actors and characters out of the way. The next scene we will film on this day is the scene where Lily runs over to her neighbors house to confess her feelings before they die. This will be the last scene we will film on this day. Tuesday 28, 2021- We will continue to film, we will take a break to enjoy the holidays then come back to finish the film. We will start by filming the third scene at the park where the two girls Lily, and Charlotte. We will film the compilation of the girls doing activities on this day as well, we will have to remain on schedule starting with the park then going to the car, bathroom, and backyard.
