A level Intro Blog

I am Karli Norkin, I am in grade 11, and last year I took part in as level Media studies. Thanks to a lot of hard work and devotion I passed and am now in A level Media studies. I took the year to learn the vocabulary and key wording I needed to succeed in the class. I also learned the best ways to film and edit over all my projects. I started with my commercial. This project was the beginning of my leaning towards filming. This opened me up to new angles and lighting to use. After the commercial I knew how to create a film overall. The best ways to show the emotions of the characters, or the best way to sell an object. After the commercial I made a music video that was longer and more complex than the commercial. This complexified my knowledge of filming and writing plots. I used more of my vocabularthat I was taught before during this project. I felt like a big-time director and actor in this film. I had a friend help me by being a part of my music video. I learned how to create and direct someone to portray what I wanted the music video extract you to feel. After the first two projects I only had one more film to create. This film was the longest out of the three. It took the most planning and time to create. I made the film with two other classmates. This allowed us to grow together and work as a team to create a great short film. This year I plan to improve my filming and developing skills, and focus on one film, and make it great. I look forward to watching my skills grow over this year.
