Tuesday 21, 2021- We will begin our filming, by starting the first scene where they are in the kitchen watching the news as they hear that an asteroid is coming to earth. This will be the first scene we will film to get the extra actors and characters out of the way. The next scene we will film on this day is the scene where Lily runs over to her neighbors house to confess her feelings before they die. This will be the last scene we will film on this day.

Tuesday 28, 2021- We will continue to film, we will take a break to enjoy the holidays then come back to finish the film. We will start by filming the third scene at the park where the two girls Lily, and Charlotte. We will film the compilation of the girls doing activities on this day as well, we will have to remain on schedule starting with the park then going to the car, bathroom, and backyard. This will be the end of this filming day, ending with the backyard scene. If it gets dark we will have to continue to work on it the next day in order for the day to line up with the last scene, where the sun is setting. 

Wednesday December 29, 2021- we will be finishing the film on this day. We will only have one scene to film. The final scene where Lily is at the beach and Noah shows up right before the asteroid may come. We will have to film this scene fast so it does not get dark, and so the times line up. 

Monday January 3, 2021- We will begin editing on this day. We will put all of our filmed scenes into our editing site. We will then begin cutting it down until all the filmed pieces go together. 

Wednesday January 5, 2021- We will continue editing. We will begin editing the opening sequence. 

Friday January 7, 2021- We will be close to finishing the editing. We will continue to add the names and the effects. 

Monday January 10, 2021- We will finish editing on this day. We will add any finishing touches.

  We started off first with watching the short film,9. It was only about 10 minutes long and there was no dialogue during it. When I first watched the film, I thought that there would be some dialogue. Doing, or having would increase the quality of this short film greatly. Not only would it make it better, but easier to understand what the plot is. There were many times throughout this short film where I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know what was going on or the plot throughout the whole film. It was hard to follow without any dialogue.I  had to resort to watching the characters' body language in order to understand what was happening. Maybe the little noises the characters made for each emotion would have been better. But that isn't very easy when they're little rag dolls. A level Intro Blog

I am Karli Norkin, I am in grade 11, and l ast year  I took part  in  as  level Media studies.  Thanks to a lot of hard work and devotion  I  passed and am  now in A level Media studies.  I took the year  to learn the vocabulary and key wording I needed to succeed in the class. I also learned the best ways to film and edit over all my projects.  I started with my commercial. This project was the beginning of my leaning towards filming. This opened me up to new angles and lighting to use.  After the commercial I knew how to create a film overall. The best ways to show the emotions of the  characters , or the best w ay to sell an object. After the commercial I made a music video that was longer and more complex than the commercial.  This complexified my knowledge of  filming and  writing plots.
